I found this in the comments section under the video on youtube:

'Home at Last' is not a Steve Perry 2005/ 2006 demo as many seem to think.
It is, in fact, a 1993 demo, considered for FTLOSM but never used (a number of 1993/ 1994 demos and completed sessions exist, but they have never, officially, surfaced).
This particular number is one of two songs that came from writing sessions with renowned rock guitarist Dick Wagner -- the other song, 'Touch Tonight,' has never surfaced in any shape of form as far as I am aware.
A few years ago Dick Wagner released a rarities and demos compilation entitled Home At Last, but the title track was a re-recorded version, with a different singer.
The difference between the two versions is quite noticeable, especially in 'depth' of vocal.
Perry's voice could make relatively simple songs soar and good songs great, but that wasn't just down to his vocal -- it had just as much to do with his musical intelligence and an inherent sense of melody.

4 Songs that were not released are better than most of the "Somber" songs on the album.
Lost Angels
Let Go
Home At Last
One More Time. (this may have been an Against the wall unreleased album)
Guess it did not fit with the "for the love of strange medicine" vibe.
I know the song had been put on and removed from youtube many times.
I wonder who is behind that.

This should be Perry's first single off his new album.
