Pardon us for this commercial break. Regular programming will return in a few moments. Please take advantage of our lovely intermission. It’s not you it’s our station in desperate need of new employees. Thank you, now enjoy our musical recital.

I know Neal had to bite his tongue when Jo, which he said they had to play the hits.
Pretty cool though he is a fan of Chain Reaction.
Target Field holds 35,000 for concerts...
I am shocked they said they would rotate opening band.

All I know is Neal and Jon's wife along (with all the exes) will be very happy with the $$$.

Thanks for posting, Trag. Also good to see you still posting around these parts.

I can't get excited about this tour at all. And Elliot's attitude of "fans only want to hear the hits" is pandering to the masses at its worst.

The announcement hit the Boston prime time news. Unfortunately, that's too far for me to travel, as is Montreal, although that's a better possibility. I wouldn't mind seeing Def Leppard, but Journey playing only the hits is a disappointment for sure. A couple of deeper cuts would be so nice.... Maybe they will play Chain Reaction!

Most likely it hit the Boston primetime news because the show will be at Fenway Park. If it had been at the Garden or something it wouldn't have been such big news for the programs.

I know Journey had to play their dirty dozen, but if they play the whole Greatest Hits Album you could just stay home and listen to that and save a lot of time and money and hassle of parking and driving and so on.

Here is a reasonable set list:
1. Separate Ways
2. Only The Young
3. Chain Reaction
4. Lights
5. Open Arms
6. Change For The Better
7. Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'
8. Escape
9. Wheel In The Sky
10. Edge Of The Moment
11. Who's Cryin' Now
12. Feeling That Way
13. Anytime
14. Faithfully
15. One More
15. Stone In Love'
16. Edge Of The Blade
17. Don't Stop Believin'
18. Any Way You Want It
(It is a big stadium tour. Journey better play more than 14 songs.)

This is a very reasonable setlist......won't happen though.

Haven't seen def leppard in a few years was really hoping to see them this year
Can't support this tour with the venue and prices in this area
To me it's just plain greed on journey's side to charge $400+ for vip especially when
Other bands are charging less for more
Plus I can't comprehend why they are alternating who is closing
Would love to see a set like live in Manila though that's never going to happen
Throwing one song in the set which isn't a hit and playing a gh set doesn't convince me to
Spend $400+ then be fleeced at the pre-show for more money
Seems all jrny wants is $$$
