Raised on Radio tour end

This has probably been covered here in the past, but I can't find it and don't remember. I was wondering how Perry was able to just say "I am done" on the ROR tour. There were still dates on the tour left that it would seem had a contract to go with them. I know that contracts are broken and /or have out clauses, usually with a penalty.

I don't fault him for saying that he just couldn't do it anymore. It just seems like not only did it leave fans unfulfilled, but always left a few dozen people out of a job.

My understanding is that the initial tour was over and no dates were cancelled after the AK show.
Management wanted another leg and Perry refused.
He did the same after the first leg of the Escape tour but he was talked into it somehow.

Would have been interesting to see how Why cant this night go on forever would have done if they continued to tour.
It was released after the tour was over.
