Upon one Twitter follower asking why Cain is promoting his book and not the Journey tour, Neal tweeted the following:

"Yeah good question. All I know is that I did tons of press with Joe Elliot."


Neal is also retweeting comments from fans such as these:

"Agreed, no one man makes a ban and there is no i in the word team."


"You did all the press Neal because at the end of the day the tour the music and Journey as a whole means more to you than your band mate. As a fan I appreciate how much you genuinely love what you do."

Love Neal, but it's pretty fucking obvious the bulk of his ire here owes to petty jealousy.

I was talking with someone in the meet and greet line for the Foreigner show
She said her husband and her did the Asia meet and greet last year which included a backstage tour
She said it was obvious backstage that there was animosity and there was conflict
I agree this is all so ridiculous

Great way to start another tour Maybe Neal can hang out with the other band, cause Jon seems to be pushing all his buttons....again.

Now he's complaining on Facebook that he's been hacked again because he can't post photos. This guy sounds like Grandpa Simpson playing with the remote. How does anybody work with this fool? He's either a fucking coke head or the dumbest man alive.

I don't understand Neal whining, though nothing's new. Neal was doing the promo stuff with Joe Elliott because he is who people think of as Journey these days... Jon isn't as recognizable to the average fan, and they aren't going to send Arnel out there. And, if management had put someone other than Neal out, he'd been bitching then too. Who cares if Jon is promoting his book. He's out there talking about how he came up w/DBS, which intern, while it's self promotion, is keeping the Journey name out there. It just seems at this point if Jon is doing anything that garners any attention, Neal's pissed off about it. I have no love-loss for either of these two, so I'm not here defending Jon by any means, but Neal just continues to come off like an immature @$$-hat. At the rate they are going before the tour even starts, it's definitely going to be walk on/off the stage together with nothing else said... I can really see this tour being the end at the rate they are going. I can't imagine the other guys being happy going out and dealing with the tension everyday. Neal can go off and do this Journey related stuff and Jon can be Mr. Born Again. If it weren't that the current tour with DL was already being worked out when the feud between these two originally started, I doubt this tour would even be happening. Anything J does now is nothing more than going out and getting a big paycheck.

Hacked my @$$... he gets "hacked" more often than anyone I know on social media...hahaha.

Well said. Neal can't stand the focus being on anyone else but him when it comes to Journey. In his mind it's not a band, it's HIS band, and no-one else matters.

What an ego maniac. I don't know how the other guys can stand working with him. They must be walking on eggshells all the time...scared to say or do anything that might set him off on another twitter rampage.
