Jeff Scott Soto - Journey

Best known singing on Yngwie Malmsteen's first two albums, Jeff Scott Soto moved into Neal Schon's orbit when he worked on Soul SirkUS's 2005 album World Play, which also featured then-Journey drummer Deen Castronovo. That led to a stint as singer for Journey after Steve Augeri began having throat problems. It didn't last long: Soto was officially confirmed for the role in December 2006, and dismissed the following June, having never entered the studio.

"I was looking forward to a long, prosperous future with these guys but it seems they wanted something different than I brought to the table," Soto said back then. ". I wish them all the best but now it's time to continue working on my own path again." Journey promptly found Arnel Pineda via YouTube, and he began a lengthy stint that totally obscured Soto.

Why is Mitch Malloy on this list...aside from some demos, he didn't even do a single gig with VH. Also, they may as well throw Augeri on here. He has also been sandblasted out of Journey history.

What about Johnny Edwards and his brief stint in Foreigner?
Ray Wilson in Genesis?

This list is half-assed.

Dominick Allen and his 1990 “ World Tour “ w Foreigner are erased from history. Oh wait a minute it never happened - only in his own mind.

Ever since finding Arnel it's like Steve Augeri was never in the band
Very unclassy
