Stranger Things is going to release their new season next year. From what I am understanding, it will be set in 1984. If Journey and Perry still have any brain cells left, they would attempt to get a song in one of the shows. Just come up with a list and send it off to the producers. 1984, Journey at their prime...there is really no excuse for there not to be a Journey song in their somewhere.

The only thing Journey was in hiatus that year. Only song released was the shoulda been Frontiers Ask the Lonely.
Was the previous season set in 83? If so did they play any Frontier songs?

Season two began on Halloween of 1984. There's going to be another time jump for season three, so it's likely you'll see it set sometime around '86. That's just my assumption. Season three is not going to take place in 1984 again.

Sorry, but Journey not being a part of this show is a huge missed opportunity...

Journey really should have put out a hard rock album in the style of Escape and Frontiers in 1985. Instead, they put out a R&B album in 1986. A Hard Rock album in 1985 would have put Journey on the top of the world. Instead Def Leppard and Bon Jovi stole all their thunder! Just sayin'
