Chris Collins must be the new guy on keys. I think the band would be well served by throwing another tenor in the mix like Kevin C.

I was trying to figure out who this dude is. Why would they need two keys players? Do you know who this dude is?

While I personally plan to see this show, if it comes to a theater near me, I do hope this scratches Neal's itch once and for all - and the limited ticket sales prove to him that he needs Jon/Arnel/Ross in his life. I think he's been delusional for a while about who/what Journey is. I'm sure he's hoping this tour takes off and he can kick them to the curb, but I think he's in for a rude awakening.

I hope we get to have both. I like seeing Journey doing well - but I couldn't be any less interested in another 90 minute co-headlining GH set played with no passion. THIS, however, is very exciting.

Hope they play theaters when you can "sit" on the non rocking songs.
How you brave ones that saw them and "stood" for 4+ hours is beyond me.

Also they should really not do anything from the post Rolie era.
Maybe a couple from that era with Deen and Schon acoustic. "like Trial by Fire"
And do "Next" with trade-offs with Deen! Am I asking to much?

Okay do anything - I will still be there.
This and the Kansas Point of Know return tour is what I am really looking forward to.

I would buy a ticket to this. Baltimore/Philly/DC area.

I think I'll take the plunge and buy a ticket and get a flight over to the US to see a show.

Yep. Gregg is primarily an organist and the second keys guy covers the piano/synth parts for the Escape, Frontiers, etc., songs they do. This is not to say that Gregg can’t play those parts (although Jonathan is a considerably better piano player, IMHO), I just don’t think he’s interested.

Did Rolie ever play synths in his time with Journey?
Even Escape had very little synths.

I am sure he can play well though with his time with the Storm and I believe his solo albums.
