I was listening to local classic rock radio and they played Oh Sherrie. Afterwards, the DJ says, "There are rumors Steve Perry will join Journey for a few shows on this summer's tour."

The only problem with this is Journey isn't touring this summer AND Perry wants nothing to do with them. This is like a scab on their finger that they cannot stop poking at.

Sure wish he would sit in with Journey through time. I would much rather see that.
Hell, let him even play a couple of his songs.

On a side note KQRS in MPLS had a deep cuts weekend and they played Strung Out.

Strung Out is a cool song. Back in the day, WRIF in Detroit wouldn't play Open Arms, but they would play Stone In Love, Escape, and Keep On Runnin'. They wouldn't play Foolish Heart, but they would play Strung Out.
