Interesting video. I'm not all that familiar with Ken Tamplin, but he makes some interesting points and observations about Perry's vocals on the live track from Houston. Makes you really appreciate the magic and perfection that was happening.

Hell no. Many of his videos feature all sorts of effects on his voice. I think he's something of a fraud.

Ken Tamplin's actually an accomplished vocalist. I don't think he'd be right for Journey, and he wouldn't join them, anyway.

Journey just needs to hang it the eff up and stop embarrassing themselves. They fired JSS, and he was the best vocalist who ever gave them the time of day.

Giving this 2019 post a bump as the vocal coach, Ken Tamplin, has now been outed as a lip syncer fraud.
In the past Tamplin has (dubiously) claimed he was offered the job in Journey.
He also released a video critical of Steve Augeri.

Yeah, I saw these when they were first posted. Ken also posted a response video...I never watched it. If I can find it, I'll post it here.

Also, the Eagles are no longer using a vocal track...probably due to this guy exposing them.

I didn't share his response video because it's not worth dignifying his bullshit. NOBODY was talking about backing tracks - they were talking about lead vocal tracks.

He pulled his own live stream of his recent concert down because the majority of the lead vocals were from his old records and there was even a moment when the lead vocal track stops prematurely and he tries to cover it up.

He is continuing to pull footage down that exposes him.
