I love Augeri. Always did. His voice got ravaged during Journey's most grueling touring era but the tone and smoothness in his voice always made me a fan. I'd definitely go see him if he ever tours around my area.

He owns Higher Place in this video. I am glad he can sing again at a high level.
Augeri won me over in 1998 when I saw him live for the first time at a small venue, maybe 2000 seater?
Castles Burning, was a huge highlight at that gig.
After that saw him with Journey maybe 5-6 times, and another time when the gig was cancelled in SW MN due to a tornado.
But I remember him and Schon coming out afterwords to greet the fans.

Since it was his first time performing in Italy (I think?), he must have eaten his Wheaties or something. Vocally, he pulled off all the stops. With Journey I saw him 5 times. The energy went down towards the end for obvious reasons. I've seen Arnel once. Great singer. But Augeri in his prime knew how to put on a show!
