The bluesy nature of this song suited Augeri's voice very well. He's actually hitting high notes in this live rendition not even on the record.

Red 13 would be the biggest sonic departure for the band until Eclipse came along.

I like this one . He did hit some nice notes, other than a crack at 3:04 pretty solid.
He is a great frontman no doubt, I much prefer the raw power of Arnel voice wise
but Steve handles the stage so well. I dont remember this one, thanks for posting this.

Great song. That rhythm part is way fun to play. I dig Schon final outro solo. If I’d had this on a 45rpm single it would have been worn out.

Red 13 was a shock when it 1st came out. The production was not "Journey polished" and I think that turned a LOT of people off. But I think it may be my fave material post-Perry. Four solid, different songs that leave you wanting more. I was really happy when it hit Spotify but that didn't last very long.
