I saw on the Simpsons that they did a parody of Sopranos. They played Don't Stop Believin' while the mobsters shot Homer in his butt and then a cop had to suck the bullet out of his butt. This is worse than anything that Steve Perry could have worried about happening on the real Sopranos show. I am guessing because it is a parody that Perry couldn't stop the Simpsons from using Don't Stop Believin'. Now, every time I hear DSB, I am going to think about Homer getting shot in the butt.

I am guessing because it is a parody that Perry couldn't stop the Simpsons from using Don't Stop Believin'. Now, every time I hear DSB, I am going to think about Homer getting shot in the butt.

It would be what happened after Homer got shot that I would hate to be picturing every time that I hear the song. If Perry has the power to block DSB from being in movies, I would fully expect him to be able to block the Simpson's from using it too.
