The women on there are OBSESSED

I was but only briefly, the loons over there were borderline obsessive stalkers and I got tired of seeing it on my feed.

Good for him. Who’d think a 70 year old man could keep hearts still fluttering and the lingerie still billowing in a stiff wind.

Not all that surprising. I know older women who still swoon over Manilow, even tho he's come out as gay. Engelbert Humperdink, in his mid 80's, also has women throwing panties at the stage. Unlike Perry tho, these guys still actually tour.

Same. It was ridiculous, some of the stuff that got posted. I left the group, as it was of no interest to me.

I've turned it into a bit of a hobbie during lockdown trying to piss them off

It's boring as hell. And the loonie and old croons, hags or whatever they call themselves (i heard they have a fan group within that so-called fan group with some kind of weird name for themselves) call themselves spicing it up with stupid porn pictures. No wonder that group (which hasn't been official for months now) only has 15k members. It can't be taken seriously. Steve's page is not that far behind. No moderator goes in and cleans it up either. Just wish he would contact Lora, Cyndy and Tim and have THEM take over. They would get that garbage scow cleaned, disinfected and running at top warp speed pronto.

Question: why is this subject here though? Oh never mind...that other board/forum is dead as heck. You would think for all of their excitement and so-called enthusiasm they would be busy over there. Guess not.

It's not unusual. Back in the day, right here on this very forum, there were definitely dudes that would have straight-up had Steve Perry's baby... if they could.

Isn’t that what musicians want to create: fantasy that is woven throughout their presence on stage and inside their music and if they are successful they can create an ethereal world in which their fans create romantic dreams to keep them entangled and engaged buying their music. If you are talented it can last for many years; if not your music is selling at a very lo price in the discount section in bins or the cashier has to be reminded who you used to be
