The track Sandcastles is one of my favorite songs. Nothing at all like a traditional Journey song. Perry and Smith really shine on this track, being able to flex their crooner and jazz chops.

There are some nice instrumental pieces on the album. Bits of Neal's live intro to Wheel in the Sky from the early days can be heard.

Perry's 6 part harmony overlay on Destiny is pretty epic, as is the part of the song when the entire band kicks, like a rock roller coaster.

Little Girl is probably the only track that resembles a Journey song of that era.

I remember seeing this album as an import in a record store when it was pretty new. Couldn't afford the price at the time. Since this was before internet I knew nothing about it. When I finally got it I was dumbfounded. I wondered was drugs the band was on. But I also really fug some of the arrangements. But I don't think I learned about this being a movie soundtrack until Time3.

I'm still holding out hope of actually being able to see this movie one day - been searching for it since the early 90s. I know it's supposedly a terrible terrible movie, but I'm really curious what visuals align with the music that I've listen to all these years.

Although made, it appears it was never released.
