11 tracks in and I have to say the album sounds HUGE. I'm less interested in the covers than the Narada-penned stuff. On many tracks, Narada's drumming equally demands the spotlight with Neal. Easily, one of the most focused Neal records since the Cain-produced Beyond the Thunder. Some tracks - like Something in the Heart - simply just soar to cosmic instrumental heights.

I'm about 7 tracks in so far, and I'm really diggin' it!! Very well produced by Narada! Those drums are THUNDERING in parts......good stuff.

I believe I just read a post from Neal on FB about CD and vinyl versions to follow. I don't think it had a timeframe yet.

Favorite tracks for me: Something in the Heart, The Universe, and Be Happy (Mahavishnu cover).

Odd that Neal has a new Spotify profile. When I look him up I get the previous profile with many of his solo albums including So U. But I had to search Schon Universe to find it. And Universe is the only album available on that Neal Schon profile.

Sadly I didn't really get into this one. Its got good sound but sorta felt like a through back to the Beyond The Thunder years....

Is that bad tho? Beyond The Thunder holds up to this day. Not sure if the same can be said about more recent NS solo fare (ex. The Calling, So U).
