Journey JFK 1981

A few songs have popped up on Youtube from when Journey opened for The Rolling Stones at JFK Stadium in 1981. These are fan recordings...you can hear the enthusiasm
From what I've heard, though, most of the crowd wasn't as accepting of them that day. The Stones crowd was there for Mick and the boys that day.

How much did the vinyl album Escape cost back then? $19.99? They were making all the money off the album back then.

Now, of course, they make all the money off the touring.

Average cost of new vinyl back in 1981 was about $10.
