Deen Band - Name Change

The Rise Above (featuring Deen and members of Rascal Flatts and Chicago) are now Generation Radio. I prefer the name Rise Above better.

Nice. Honestly, I like Generation Radio better; more mainstream and a mission statement.

The Rise Above, frankly, sounds like an obscure C-tier melodic rock band from Europe.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

"Generation Radio" sounds like a local 80s karaoke bar band to me. "Rise Above" was cool - even had country crossover potential. Oh well.

No. But now, Steve Perry has to re-name his next album!
