Neal tweeted on Wednesday:
"Thank God for Narada & Jim as this was a year ago we started the new Journey album. We worked on it constantly collectively shaping a new chapter of Journey. We are all very excited for you to hear it all."
Jim is Narada's engineer, I believe.
As a fan, I am also thankful. Without Tarpan studios and Narada's personal involvement (including producing Arnel's vocals), there would be nothing to look forward to right now in the Journeyverse. Firing Ross and Smitty wasn't enough - Neal needed to find a creative partner with shared musical vision. Neal used to have that with Jonathan. Not sure where they stand. One day away from the release of new Journey music and if you check Cain's social media pages, it's still pretty much all Jesus, all the time. What a fuck up.
Anyway, let's hope the Narada era is long lived! Here's a classic Narada track with a juicy funkalicious Randy bassline.
