"A short string of lead singers followed Perry’s departure, but nothing quite worked until Schon found Pineda. "

When the band (or an Azoff-approved idiot copywriter) glosses over Augeri's time like this, it tarnishes their own legacy.

I agree with you! Augeri was awesome back in the Arrival days. If the powers-that-be would have played Remember Me during ending credits of Armageddon (movie), Journey would have had a huge hit song with Augeri. Plus, they should have had a Jason-like person in the band to take some of the vocal-workload off of Augeri in all those concerts, and maybe he wouldn't have hurt his voice. Back then, they toured alone and did long shows with Augeri singing just about all of it. Deen may have sung a few songs, but not enough it turns out to help. They should NOT crap on Augeri's days with Journey. That is a huge mistake.

Why are we complaining about this NOW? Back then, Journey wanted NOTHING to do with the Augeri years. They wanted to end it and move on....with Arnel...and have us forget everything that happened with the end of Augeri's time and how they handled JSS. That's why they barely and rarely mention it...even today.

This bio is linked to the BRAND NEW Vegas residency dates just announced. That's why.

In the immediate aftermath of Tapegate, it was regrettable - but understandable - why they wanted to gloss over the Augeri years.

In 2021, under new management, I would like to think they had made peace with his role and contributions to the band.

The bio also mentions Smitty and Ross - so it's clearly in need of an update.
