They've been very successful selling larger arenas for years now, but always as co-headliners. So they are smart, but can they do this with a small opener vs. a peer group?

But is it the full arena set-up that they are doing? I wasn't at the Philly show, but when I looked at tickets, it looked like the stage was pushed forward, closer to center ice. More of a theater set-up instead of full arena. I could be wrong, but that's what the seating chart looked like to me.

Interesting. Just going by what folks are saying, but that would make sense. I did hear a conflicting number at one of the venues: sold out but 10,500.

Looks pretty standard.

I don't remember the stage being set that far back on the Wells Fargo seating chart. But that building also holds 2,000 more, so maybe that's why. Either way, glad to see people are getting out.

It's propped up by following a rodeo, of all things, which is what people are there for... And, if you go to the RodeoHouston FB page, people are pissed that they only played 1hr, had a shortened set, and no encore. It sounds like a disaster in front of 70,000 cowboys and girls, and 2,000 Journey fans :D
