Exactly, I just don't get it. That's why I wonder if they just morphed it for YT so people would not be able to download a good copy for free.

The sound is terrible on Spotify as well. I’ve never heard of an artist purposely ruining their audio quality.

I never really understood Neal's obsession with pushing the 'new strut funk' sound. Some people were buying into it like it was going to be the second coming of Parliament. At the end of the day the new rhythm section would be working for Journey, not the other way around. They weren't going to stray from the classic Journey sound.
