What happened? Jack is out, Doug is out. Hoekstra and Pilson are in , who is going to write the songs?

Probably whatshisface again, I'm expecting another great sounding but bland album

And sadly Petetrik has written all of the great songs (which there is a lot of) that he will ever write. He's not had a great album since the second or third Pride of Lions album

Alessandro Del Vecchio does all the writing for Revolution Saints anyway. I wonder if that contributed to Jack and Doug leaving. Both are accomplished songwriters who have been talking about wanting to write their own songs since album 2.

Peterik needs another Frankie Sullivan type of co-writer to keep him Rock as opposed to Broadway. If someone keeps him in check from getting too Broadway, he could write for a Revolution Saints type band.

Yep. That's about it. The Peterik/Scherer album was at least a small step in the right direction on some songs. Looking back, it's amazing how the Peterik/Sullivan combination brought out the best in each other that neither has managed to achieve without the other one.

Don't know why they wouldn't use blades songwriting talent , seems like a wasted opportunity.

I was excited about that band picked up the debut album and nothing really caught my attention unfortunately.
