New Manager Gone Already?

Postby The_Noble_Cause » Sun Jan 15, 2023 9:05 am

A Twitter account (Princes10232918) that writes exactly like Michaele Schon and spends all of its time/energy attacking Jon / Arnel claims that someone has "resigned" owing to "Too much drama from Cain and Arnel."

Is this referring to Def Leppard and Journey Manager, Mike Kobayashi? If so, the band is w/out management. Kobayashi only started in December. I think even QPrime lasted longer. Of course this anonymous account could also be 100% full of shit.

The same account also stated the following about Arnel: "let’s see what he and Cain do now . Disgusting Judas"

At this rate, they may be calling Josh Ramos or Miles to audition. This cannot go on.

Doesn't surprise me. They don't act like a band trying to please a manager anyway.

When a band tries to please their manager, they usually become boring.

What I am saying is if the manager lays down the law and says this is the way things need to be, they may bitch and whine like a bunch of babies, but they bend over and do it.

What you are saying is today's Journey is more exciting than the 70's and 80's Journey where Herbie had control. You are calling those days 'boring' because Herbie hired and fired members, controlled the album titles and artwork, controlled who they toured with with, etc. How boring those days were when Herbie fired Fleischman and forced Steve Perry on the band, fired Aynsley and hired Steve Smith. Now it is just soooo exciting when Neal has control of those type of things. The further Herbie was distanced from Journey, the more chaotic and crazy things became.

I can imagine Herbie telling Neal to shut the fuck up or he would cancel the tour and Neal could sit at home and stare at his wife all day, because that is what it seems like he wants to do anyway. And, if he didn't like it and whined about it like a little bitch, he would reform Journey without him. Herbie would do that....nobody else in the Journey sphere of influence has the balls or respect to do it. That is why things are how they are. The bubble in Neal's head needs to burst...but nobody will put a pin in it.
