Decent cover band, but as Journey's actual singer? Gonna have to pass on that one. I'm pretty sure Neal would somehow talk Deen into the full-time singer gig if something happened with Arnel before bringing in a new ego to contend with from an already well established band. He wasn't keen on Marco doing his own thing in the spotlight on the bass let alone being a frontman!

Last night, I went and saw Beyond Frontiers, Joey Belladonna's Journey tribute group. And let me tell you, the show was fantastic!

Now while there are clearly differences in their vocal sounds, Belladonna does a great job of bringing the Perry-esque feel to his performance and the band he has around him was damn near impeccable.

I'll have more to say later as I'll be writing up a review of the show for KNAC.COM.
