Please don't link to this utter racist, conspiracy driven fuckwit on this site. He knows nothing, says nothing, does nothing.

I agree, but several artists I respect (JSS, Deen, etc.) have gone on his "show."
Augeri was supposed to, but so far hasn't (good for SA!).

If you're going to bring in a legend to sing on one of your songs, then let him be clearly heard. Give him a couple of verses on his own.

Can't wait to hear his next record given the singing in this song. Sounds like his voice is in great shape and he has been using it.

I really dont think we will get another proper record from him

Art Vandelay wrote:The hype was definitely misleading on this one. I was able to hear a lot of his soulful background singing, much more than what I could hear on a lot of the other recent songs that he contributed to.
It would be nice to hear these songs that he has contributed to with his voice stripped out of it so that we could really get an understanding and appreciation of what he is delivering to the songs, although I know this would be almost impossible.

Come on fella,
You don't think that if Perry wanted to sing a verse on his own they wouldn't let him? Perry could have said he wanted to sing it all and they would have probably happily obliged. This is the same with nearly everything Perry has done for the past however many decades, he just liked the add a bit of flavour into the songs (even though im sure we would all want more)
FamilyMan wrote:Can barely hear Perry in the mix. Feels like a cheap attempt to generate PR for a band I would otherwise never heard of, nor cared to. Trev, consider me suckered and disappointed.
danielb wrote:So much for that "earthquake" of a vocal performance from Perry. He can barely be heard. Talk about slaughtering a soulful original piece of music.
