"So many people are curious about what went wrong," he continued. "My point is we should talk about what went right. All those fabulous musicians that have come under that roof over the decades, the musicians that remain, the band that remains, with Arnel singing and Jonathan and Neal. They continue to this day. I wish them the best."

I'm not surprised by this in the slightest. Is anyone?

-Also, in the same interview, Ross says a lot of the music on his solo album dates back 70s and 80s. It's odd that more of his ideas/compositions didn't find their way into Journey - especially after SP left. Neal often mentions that he wrote the basslines on Stone In Love and other recordings. Was Ross content to be marginalized or was there no room to express himself in the band?

-He has a built a soundstage in his house and plans to release performances filmed there.

Having interviewed him myself a couple of times, I have always been impressed with the class and grace Ross has shown to everyone - including Perry who fired him once upon a time. He's a stand-up guy.
