Augeri finally incorporating some of his own original compositions into his setlists. Since leaving Journey and launching his own solo band, he has shied away from playing anything besides Journey material or other covers.

The song, Beautiful, (off 7 Ways Til Sunday), made its live debut in Chile on October 31st, 2024. Starts around the 3 minute mark.

I have been hoping for this since he hit the road after everything. I wish he would quit playing Journey music since he struggles with some of it and it is the reason he had vocal troubles to begin with. But that name will always put ass in the seats. Irony that it happened in Chile, want that the first time his vocal troubles were really publically obvious?

Not that I'm aware of. He's always struggled, but shit really hit the fan on the US Generations tour in 2005. I don't think the band did S. America with Augeri.

I think I was confusing it with Arnel debuting with Journey in Chile.

I wish he would do more of his own and his own Journey music. There's a few people like him that do weekend dates and they only do music of the guy they replaced.

I had planned to see Augeri on this tour. He's coming to an area about 30 miles away from our home next week. However, can't make it due to health issues. Pretty bummed. Glad things are going well for him.
