Fil from Wings of Pegasus YT Channel has looked into Arnel's denial of auto-tune usage in the Rolling Stone article from March 31st. He does this by analyzing old tour footage from 2022 and 2021. Not sure what purpose this serves now. Just seems like piling on. At the very least he could have analyzed current tour footage.

Agree. Stop emailing Fil about Journey. 3 videos is enough. There are enough other acts out there to analyze.

i doubt it is people here requesting it. I assume this is from his general fanbase on YouTube that have an interest in Journey.

Well, interesting video. It basically confirms what I suspected from back then. This is from the time after he received his magical ear monitor that fixed his vocals, correct? We were definitely lied to back then, by Deen, who I also suspect uses autotune but have no proof of it.

Also, I think the point Fil is trying to make is some videos that are edited for broadcast may have been tuned but the original performance was not. And, he is not ALWAYS using autotune. Also, his point about a singer knowing where his vocal is going is a good one...he should know if it is going to a computer for potential tuning or directly to the soundboard/mixer/whatever. So, all of these vocalists who are being shown to be using autotune KNOW what is going on...or they at least SHOULD know.

I will not be surprised if Fil does another video for the current tour. I also do not believe it is people on this forum asking for it.

Maybe he’s getting a lot of hits for this which is why he keeps returning to the band. I applaud anything that calls out the BS enhancements in what is supposed to be a live setting.

True. But, I don't think this is chasing clicks. IMO, he's getting Email from his YouTube fans and this is his response. The more the band denies or responds to this, the more he'll cover it, too.
