Just throw in a Beatles reunion as the opener and a guest appearance by Elvis while you are at it.

I know that it's not going to happen. But I have been thinking for years now that for the final Journey show they should get together all of the former members that they can get, and have a 4 hour long concert with a huge set list. Of course they'd have a long intermission between the 2 hour sets. And they'd get as many singers as they can like Perry, Fleischman, Rolie, Augeri, Soto, and Chalfant to join Pineda and Castronovo which would lighten the load on them. Get Smith, Valory, Jackson, Baird, Dunbar, maybe even Omar Hakim and or Atma Anur to all sit in. Hell, if they got all of those players to join the current band members, they could make it 2 different two-and-a-half-hour long sets with an intermission in between. They could ask Josh Ramos and maybe Steve Lukather to also sit in so that Schon isn't expected to stand their playing every song. Marco Mendoza is another bass player they could ask to sit in. Joe Satriani is from San Francisco and is friends with Schon. Gillis, Watson and Hammett are also possibilities. Hell, Carlos Santana.

If they decided to perform that one final show in a huge open park in San Francisco in the summer of 2027 so that the weather is good enough for an outdoor show in Frisco, that would be the one and only 2027 date that they would have to perform. And they'd have time to try to organize it.

A DVD/Blue/ray/4K disc set would sell a ton if they had all of those past members sit in with them!
