I had hoped to see them in Reading, but unfortunately all my Journey friends are pre-occupied. My one Journey fanatic friend died, my other friend is going to the 3-day long Hellfest concert (so his concert spending money is gone) and my other friend will still be in Florida at the time (her flight comes in around 4:30 and I think the show starts at 8pm- too close to make it).

There is always the Meadville, PA show. Tickets are only 18 bucks for all seating. Still, it's kinda a far trek for me.

Mark my words, I will find a way somehow to see them this summer.

I haven't been to a concert of anyone in over a year BUT there is a bug Music festival that I will be going to in Sept that is expecting to schedule over 100 musical acts over a 3 day period and the cost is something like a 3 day pass for $35 to $40.00.... :)

In my opinion, Journey is the ideal "bring a date or spouse band". I can see ladies going with other ladies to see Journey, but I cannot see two guys going to see Journey together.

Journey plays a lot of love ballads, which are ideal for bringing a female if you are a guy. I can't picture two guys swinging together while "Faithfully" or "When You Love a Woman" are being played in concert.

I saw Journey last weekend at a local County Fair. There had to be way over 5000 people, it was packed!! It was a GREAT show and one of the best that I've seen in quite a while. Journey had a ton of energy and played non-stop. :D

I was amazed by Deen's singing, just incredible. People traveled from all over to see this show. (My brother flew in from NYC.) From the people I talked to, no one left disappointed.

:D :P :D
