It just didn't seem like there were enough cameras or anything else at that show to actually produce enough quality video for a DVD.

Barb, you've had the opportunity to meet with the band members on several occassions....Did you ever ask them about this? To be honest, I personally don't care if it's an elaborate video production anyway, as long as it's a quality digital soundboard recording! This DVD was originally intended for sale ONLY on journeymusic.com for the die hard FANS anyway, if I remember correctly. This is certainly one of THE best shows I've witnessed with this lineup, and I, as well as everyone else that attended that show (or any diehard Journey fan, for that matter), would be ecstatic to have this little piece of concert history in their living rooms! There may be better shows in the future, but for now, April 26, 2003 at the Warfield in San Francisco stands out in my mind! It's a MUST HAVE!

I hope they chuck the whole idea, just forget about it an move on to something new. It's been nearly a year and a half now.

Well Barb, it WAS all your fault that the discussion started at all...The announcement was made prematurely in the wake of the JPP video of the induction ceremony (sorry folks, no copies remain, we promised the band only attendees would get it)
It's unfortunate that we've gone this long without a record of that memorable show. I'd be more surprised to actually see it than not at this point....

What? What did I do? I remember praising the JPP video of that WOF ceremony . . . .
jrnyjetster wrote::o According to a recent interview with Deen on his site, www.deen-o.com the WARFIELD DVD has officially been scrapped! Very unfortunate...I was so looking forward to this, but I'm actually NOT surprised, either!Oh well...we move on...
