Journey's concert for August 28, 2004 at the Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts in Mansfield, MA has been canceled. What other venues could Journey play in August in the Boston Area, so we can them in 2004?
Here are my suggestions:
1. Paul Tsongas arena in Lowell, MA.
2. LeLacheur Ball Park in Lowell, MA (Lowell Spinners play there). Capacity 5,000 excluding the field.
3. FleetBoston Pavilion is nice too.
4. Boston Hatchshell
5. Another date at the Tweeter Center

Probably no point. They wouldn't fill any venue would they?

Was that response really necessary, Penny? Journey should perform in Boston, MA.

I'll admit, they're not Toto or Kiss...

but they are a good draw.

They are playing Saratoga and that can't be too far from Boston?

Hi Eric,
Saratoga is in NY. I hope Journey plays in the Boston area for the MA fans. I'm not interested in seeing them in Central NH, or Central CT either.

I'm driving 4 long hours to go to that show...(worth it though for a top notch venue)

Is that round trip Eric? I could understand that. But a four-hour drive after a kick ass concert would drain the crap out me.
But power to you! Nothing like a good road trip!

That is one-way, however, I have family halfway, so the trip will be broken up both ways....basically like 4 2 hour trips.
Honestly, this venue is so worth it...
