Will you be going to see the Rush 2007 tour!?!

Postby WickedGail » Thu Feb 15, 2007 5:02 am

Who on this board will be going to see the guys when they tour this year and where!?! It would be nice to hookup and meet some of the board members here. I plan on being at the first date in Nashville, TN on June 13th. Who else is game!?!

'Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh,'! San Antonio probably, otherwise Houston or Dallas.
Keep an eye on that Nashville date, since Starwood is set to close it may change.

Only missed one concert since 1986 (1994 Counterparts in Hampton, VA because Geddy had exhaustion), so what makes you think I'll miss this one?

Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Bonner Springs, Kansas...probably in July. See you all there!!!!

Dude...you wouldn't be the guy who wanted me to give him my extra ticket I was trying to sell in 2004 and you ended up finding me inside and I gave it to you anyway would you?

That is probably the one I will be at. LOVE seeing shows at Sandstone(Sorry, just can't bring myself to call it by the corporate bullshit version)

Hoping for some Florida dates here. Preferably Jacksonville or Tampa and on a weekend. LOL

Does anyone know when the dates will be announced? I didn't see any '07 dates on their official site.

 Whoa! There's someone here who's familiar with my neck of the woods? Where are you from anyhow? Angiekay, dear, it will ALWAYS be Sandstone; I just wasn't sure if anyone in here knew where I was talking about by it's original name. I still think they need to put a roof over it like at the VA Beach Amphitheater - the Vapor Trails concert at Sandstone was just like being in an oven - a roof that evening would have been a huge help! Best Journey concert I ever seen was at the VBA under that roof. Good times.

As for giving and getting tickets, I'd take you to a Rush gig anytime if I knew that you were available. Just let me know where you'll be before the upcoming concert and we'll meet up and have a brew together under the stars :D

You're on!!

I am actually from Minnesota, living in South Dakota, but Sandstone is only about a five hour drive from me. I've seen MANY a concert there...mostly Styx, but saw Rush there in 2004 and BAKED(in the hot sense)at Sammy last summer. I don't think they should put a roof on there at all...it's perfect the way it is. Outdoors, no bugs, perfect(although a little warmish) in the summer time.

I will never miss a Rush tour although I hope they don't play the Clark County Amphitheater in WA. I thought the sound was not that great but maybe it was just where we sat. They are incredible players and always have all the extra goodies (lights, lasers, video) along to make it all worth it though. Will be interesting to see what songs they play this time around.

Wow! It seems like Geddy's daughter, Kyla, was just born yesterday.

She obviously got lucky and was spared the beak that her Dad was blessed with getting :D

Hell yea. I'll be in Houston AND Dallas with Bells on. Don't believe me?? I'll take pictures with me wearing a bunch of bells.

This tour is gonna be sweet. I know that there are a couple of instrumentals on this new album...but I wanna hear Leave That Thing Alone live again. Either that or Natural Science (even though this has vocals...the instrumental parts are AMAZING). One or the other I can deal with.

Maybe the new ones will beat 'em but I LOVE those fuckin' songs.
