Tremendous Show last night & the amphitheatre was full except for a few empty pockets of "nosebleeds".
RUSH has a very loyal fan base on Long Island.

Set List exactly as posted.

The Band continues to impress & astound.

I could have done with 'Red Barchetta" over "Summertime Blues" but that's just my 2 cents.

Excellent... I thougth Summertime sounded ok in Bristow, but how can you drop 2112 or The Trees and have the likes
of that and Digital Man in the set... ???? LOL

I agree on "Summertime," and I'm not crazy about "Natural Science" coming back yet again, but those are my only set list nitpicks.

As for losing most of their 2nd-tier songs (2112, La Villa, Trees, Closer, Working Man, etc) I say hallelujah and it's about time. Doing the same old "greatest hits revue" every tour? No thanks.

Oh...I agree.. but some songs are just hard to ditch. Any classic band has roughly 4- 5 songs they shouldn't tamper with that are longtime concert staples. They continue to play "Tom...", "Radio...", & "Limelight"...and I'd like to see "2112" and "The Trees" back. After that, go nuts dishing out the rarities and new tracks for the majority of the set-list....

Those tracks have been mainstays since my first few shows in '80 and '81... sentimental favorites and classics. :)

RUSH wrote their Retirement plan when 'Tom Sawyer" came out.

They can never drop the Home Run they hit w/that one!

People who aren't big fans know that song & go see them because of it...It's good business!

What I love about them the last few years is their sense of humor, Alex thru body language telling his Guitar Tech he's gonna 'kick his ass" during (1) song, The chef basting Geddy's Chicken Rotisserie & Neil's whole solo video backdrop.

Looks like "Summertime Blues" got swapped out tonight.

Click here to find out which song replaced it.

LOL... Had a feeling...they've been playing that at soundcheck for about 2 weeks.

Now if they'd ditch "Digital Man" for another great SIGNALS track, "The Analog Kid",
it would be just about perfect. :D
