Baby steps, right? Although being lumped in with the Village People...ugh!

Legendary Canadian power trio Rush are among the 25 artists who will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009. According to the Associated Press, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee revealed the list Thursday (June 19th). Rush was inducted into the Canadian music industry's Hall of Fame in 2003, although the group was snubbed for induction into the U.S.-based Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, the first year they were eligible.
Others slated to be honored on the Walk of Fame next year include Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr., actors Ben Kingsley, Cameron Diaz and Hugh Jackman, disco-era group the Village People, Disney character Tinkerbell, director Tim Burton, Survivor and Rock Star creator Mark Burnett and This is Spinal Tap star and co-creator Harry Shearer.
