I'm the youngest in my family, so that explains the 78s and 8-tracks, but records were still hot when I was born. I STOLE my first one when I was 2 (Paradise Theater), and bought my 1st one when I was 3 after Easter (Grand Illusion). I remember seeing those "shiny little disc" behind the counter back then, and thinking "records look cooler". lol

The bigger pictures were definitely cooler.

You might wanna bury that Grease 8-track, though. Or at least not tell people you own it.

On a slightly more serious note (haha), Nikki Sixx talked about 8-tracks on one of his podcasts. He said he'd installed a perfect working 8-track player in a new (restored) car he'd bought, and his "source" was coming through with mint (in some cases unopened) 8-tracks for him, on the cheap. His first new acquisition, IIRC, was KISS — Love Gun or Destroyer or something like that.

Luckily I can say that Grease is my sister's. Pieces Of 8, and Escape are MINE.

My sister was guilty of having Bobby Sherman and Shaun Cassidy in her dismal collection.

I have something to admit. I used to take some of my sister's records and fling them in the air as high as I could and watch them smash in the street. It was awesome. Is that evil?

LOL...nice. My brother's collections I always raided. But my sister's...the only thing worth stealing was Benatar.

I can't imagine how good this is gonna sound. The clips barely give you an idea, but the little I heard sounded great!

I love trying to guess how Rush songs will evolve. I'm only right about 10% of the time, 'cause they always throw me a loop.
