The comments under the topic are hilarious. In a juvenile way, of course.

Ok...

I like S&A a lot, so I'm excited about it. Rush has a history of playing lots of new material when they release an album, but VT got short shrift over the last two tours, so I think it's cool that they're now returning to form.

How's that?

TOO SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting post.

Going to see them in October and I really like the new album.

By playing 9 tracks which is an awful lot of songs considering their immense back catalogue, they might miss out a few weaker ones like Roll The Bones, Force 10 and Animate.

Roll on October

Fantastic band :)

I am seeing them on June 30th and think it is great they are playing 9 new songs. The thing that is great about Rush fans is they actually buy and love new material, which you cannot say about many other classic rock bands. Usually fans show up only for the hits and are not too receptive to new material.

They are playing nine news songs, but not necessarily all of them every night. It may be a case of nine songs mixed in on different nights.

Definitely possible, though I'd say Far Cry, Monkey Business and Hope (during the acoustic set after the drum solo, which seems to have become a standard thing now) are probably shoo-ins for every night.

That's another reason I'm planning to avoid set list spoilers. If they're rotating songs in and out, I don't want to be disappointed by what I could have heard.
