It's been brought up in a few interviews. The conesnsus seems to be that there are no firm plans, but they're not opposed to the idea either (they didn't originally plan to do the R30 DVD, after all) so there is a decent chance.

I also hope we get one, especially since they've shaken the set list up so much from the last couple of tours.

Yeah...would be a great time to film.

Live dvd's are today's sure product for classic rock band's...
they've had so much success with there last 3 dvd sets that
it would be a crime not to film this tour, especially with the
rarities and S&A material that's performed.

Hopefully they'll film the Garden...

i really want S&A live songs. i'm asking for R30 for my birthday. but, is R30 as good as, say "rush in rio" or the "replay" box set?

Due to the set-list and filming, R30 is my favorite of their dvd catalog...

Our local R30 show was amazing too...

Depends on what you're looking for.

Replay is a great overview of the band through the 80s (and a nice nostalgia trip for us old-timers) but it's missing over a decade of their musical history, and has no extra bells and whistles.

Rio doesn't sound so good and is a little one-dimensional visually, but is an incredibly pasisonate performance and the audience is show in itself, plus it's a full show (the only one of these DVDs that is, btw)

R30 is better produced than R30 and looks cooler, but it's a bit shorter and personally I don't like the song choice quite as much as Rio.

Both Rio & R30 have great bonus features -- interviews, music videos, archival footage, multi-angle clips, etc.
