"You play pretty good for a blind white guy"

"Yeah, and I thought you'd be bigger"

I saw him once in concert supporting the "Hell to Pay" album. If you can pick up his "Live At Montreux 1999" cd.

I saw him a few weeks ago on tour in the UK. A fantastic guitarist, blind or not. He didn't have a fixed set list, and he and his blues band basically jammed on stage and played anything the audience called out for.

I don't think any of his recorded material really does Jeff justice. You have to see him live to appreciate just how good he is.

Some of the only blues music I enjoy comes from this man.

Try Joe Bonamassa. My best friend was his bassist for six years. The guy flat out smokes.

Yes, R.I.P. Jeff. I was fortunate last October to visit Jeff Healey’s Roadhouse in Toronto. I traveled up from Detroit to see Saga playing there. Nice place, they played the movie Roadhouse on the big screens as a backdrop to the music. I was talking to a few with inside knowledge, they said jeff had cancer wasn’t doing well. Too bad about Jeff, that man was an inspiration. He’ll be missed.

Saw Joe play a couple of months ago and all I can say is WOW.

Also check out Walter Trout.
