UPDATE - 8/17@5:25PM: According to RUSHGIRL at Counterparts, the date of birth was August 12th.

From an unconfirmed report via RUSHGIRL at the Counterparts board, Neil Peart and Carrie Nuttall are the proud parents of a baby girl! We learned in a NeilPeart.net News update earlier this summer that Neil and Carrie were expecting. It was 12 years ago this past Monday, August 10th that Selena - Neil's daughter by his late wife Jackie - was killed in a tragic car accident at the age of 19. A big congratulations to Neil and Carrie on this joyous event.
