I've seen Rush every tour the past couple of decades and everything that has been said about this tour is correct. They are simply on fire this tour. The whole band has a ton of energy, they are playing / performing / putting on a show, better than ever! No longer do we go to a Rush concert to sit back and watch 3 guys jamming, we now go to be entertained as well. They have become showmen now as well. ;) They are having fun, interacting with the crowd more and more, especially Alex with the up close fans. Geddy's voice was in top form, everytime he hit those high notes with clarity and strength the crowd roared back in appreciation.

Alex's guitar sound was thick and heavy while still clear to hear the highs well. Geddy's bass had some serious beef on it and to me resembled the sounds of the Rick back in the 70's. Neil's kit was drop dead gorgeous and sounded very punchy. While Neil's playing was spot on as usual, I was underwhelmed by his drum solo. He seems to be going less technical and more taseful, which is fine for a man pushing 60, but it just didn't blow me away like other tours.

The 3 videos, intro, post halftime and at the end of the show (wait for it don't leave!) are extremely well done and very funny. It's good to see Neil acting more in these vids. Man...he seems to be so much more happier now days, and he has every reason to be considering what he's gone through.

By far the best rock concert I've ever seen. From the musicianship to the showmanship, these boys are easily at the top of their game and are more popular than ever. For long term fans this is just amazing to witness happen. Who would have thought 30 years ago, a band for the most part, no one else really "got" or cared about, would go on to have the success they have and now finally get the public respect and popularity they truly deserve. It's a fun time to be a Rush fan....but we knew all this 30 years ago. ;)

"ON FIRE" is really all you can say about them right now. The show I saw on this tour was far superior to the two I saw on the S&A tour. They do seem to have a lot more interaction between the three of them this time out. I feel the same way about Neil's solo, still doesn't get old though.

It is a good time to be a fan as these three still got it and are performing far better than others half their age. Too bad the rest of the world didn't figure this out back in the 70's, but then again being a female Rush fan thru the 70's and 80's was kind of fun since there were only about 10 of us.

That was a great show and it was awesome hearing Moving Pictures getting played all the way through. A friend of mine and I agreed that The Camera Eye was probably the best song of the evening. The musicianship was excellent but I was most surprised by how well Alex Lifeson was singing the backing vocals - he definitely nailed them and was very clear! I am so glad I've had the opportunity to see Rush several times and each time I emerge impressed and happy.

I was very surprised by Alex's vocals also, seems his mic was actually turned on for this tour.. I wonder if he's taken some lessons?
