I can't wait for this album! Best trio in the history of music, hands down. Yes, better than Cream, too.

Lou Brutus....is he the guy that used to be on VVX in Chicago or was it Q101? Chicagoland posters, help me out here....his name rang a bell.

RAWK!!! Great song...creams just about everything on the last album. Once again, Rush proves itself to be the best ongoing "career" rock band out there!! Yeah, EVH is a "guitar god" but VH wouldn't even attempt to play music on this level. And that other "J" band? LOL

I got 2 choices! What would you pick. Opening night Sep 7 on a Friday or mid tour Oct on a Wednesday night? And don't say both! Can't afford both. Got some other shows to see.

BOTH. lol

I don't believe that Rush HAS bad opening nights..so you're safe there. Personally...I'd see them ASAFP.

Exactly what I thought. Although, Verizon Center in NH isn't the greatest sounding venue. I think Boston might sound better but I HATE middle of the week concerts. Getting too old for that shit.

Yep. Bet it was their producers idea. Nick is a HUGE rush fan and pushed them to sound a bit like they used to in the earlier days.

So, ticket prices are $107 in Manchester, NH which is 10 minutes from my house but they are $142 in Boston, MA which is only an hour from my house. Quite the difference for some reason. Guess I know which one I'm going to.

I'm just hopin' nosebleeds are cheap enough at Toyota Center. I've already done the reserved section twice. Too much $$ for the same concert.

I'm just saying that is seems to be paying tribute to it, it's sure as hell not exact. And Headlong Flight has been on repeat since yesterday for me.

F'in A! :!: Can't wait to hear the rest of it, especially "The Wreckers" where Geddy (allegedly) plays guitar and Alex (allegedly) plays bass!

Nosebleeds in NH suck! That place has horrible sound if you are too far away from the stage. Friend went to see Boston there and couldn't even make out what song they were playing. Now THAT'S a waste of money.

I went to TSO at Toyota the past 2 years, and VH in '04 near or in the wheelchair section. Dead center, perfect view, and close to beer.

Close to beer is always best! A bathroom nearby helps too! Closest I have seen them is 16th row center in NH. Neals kick drum was hammering our chest so hard my wife thought she was going to have a heart attack. Have gotten pretty good seats most of the time.

Closer isn't always best. Went to see Kamelot at the Palladium in Worcester, MA this past winter. It was in a small narrow club. Managed to get in early for a meet and greet and get a spot right in front of the stage (standing room only show). Well, I made it through the first opening act but all of a sudden during the 2nd band, I felt someone crash into me and then another person step on my ankle. Turns out a mosh pit opened up right behind me and all the young kids were flying all around and crashing into me. I hightailed it out of there in a hurry for a safer spot. Too old for that shit. Would have liked to see Kamelot right up front but wasn't worth the potential emergency room visit
