I'm also planning on Manchester. Hoping the presales go well for me.

By the tail end of Nov., I hope to have enough cash to get all 3 Texas dates in again. December 2nd is a MUST, though. I COMPLETELY missed the Time Machine tour. I THINK I have a valid reason, though. (those who know me will get this.)

No luck today with the fan pre-sale. Nothing but crap available. Got on exactly at Noon and there were no floor seats available, no lower bowl available except for the far corners. Tried later in the day and magically some floor seats were available 26 rows back, but on the left side. Decided to try a different pre-sale tomorrow and if that fails, wait for the onsale to the public.

I swear I've gotten better tickets when they go onsale to the public than these joke pre-sales. Today's pre-sale was advertised as best seats in the house for fans. Yeah right. Where were they? Not a single good seat available in the lower bowl.

The presales today were pretty bad, took me about 45 minutes to get 18th row, I kept getting the "none available" also, refresh, refresh, refresh. The VIP sales don't even give you a seat number until you get to will call.

Unfortunately, I was working and couldn't keep hitting refresh all day :(

I don't do presales anymore. There are a limited number of tickets and they aren't always the best. I did a presale for Robert Plant once, got row 26. Did general sales the next day and got row 6. I will look and see what there is available, but usually you're better off doing general sales. Wish I had the cash to do those VIP tix!!

Scored!!! Got some tickets in section 108, lower bowl not too far from stage and 4 rows off the floor! Didn't even try for floor seats. Hate floor seats unless they are real close. Always end up with some tall goon in front of me blocking my view.

Meet up is at a place called Strange Brew which is supposedly close to the venue. Someone from the Cygnus X-1 Facebook page is sorting the details.

GREAT! I'm curious as to what the stage setup will look like for this tour. Although I missed the Time Machine tour, the DVD captures is beautifully. Looked AWESOME!

I'm just worried about them playing Signals in full. There was rumor about that. Personally, I'd much rather Power Windows.

From a comment Geddy made ages ago, unless they're going to haul Ben Mink out on tour with them to play the violin part on 'Losing It', I don't think it'll be that album. We shall see... 8)

LOL...I remember that comment, but they also said they never saw themselves doing The Camera Eye again either. And you know how many triggers are in their footswitches.

I'm just sayin' that I don't find it implausible. Ya know?

Signals would be OK. But I also REALLY like Power Windows. That would be cool.

A lot of people don't like it, but Emotion Detector is one of my favorite "ballads" (only classified that due to the lyrics. lol). Very fun solo to play and it's got fluidity to it. Even Alex still doesn't like that solo. I never got why?!
But it also was something I listened to a lot during a rather bad breakup. Like Neil does with everything...he NAILED the situation.

Love the feeling in that song. That whole CD seems to have more emotion than most other Rush CD's and a nice atmospheric sound. Probably my favorite CD from the "Keyboard" era. Has the right mixture of guitar and keyboards.

Good point, and never say never, yes?
Power Windows would be very welcome; that was my first time seeing them live, when The Summit was still The Summit. 8)
