'Glee' Star Caught Kissing Nikki Blonsky
Posted Monday 07 December 04:08 PM By: Amber James
Move over Zac Efron. 'Glee' actor Cory Monteith gave fans quite a surprise when he kissed 'Hairspray' actress Nikki Blonsky on the cheek at Marshalls & TJ Maxx's 'Carol-oke' contest in Bryant Park. So what made him do it? "I put on antlers, and I go out of my mind," Monteith jokes to PopEater about the friendly kiss.
Kidding aside, Monteith says fans have a lot to look forward to when 'Glee' returns in April 2010 and tells PopEater about the all-Madonna episode, guest star Jonathan Groff and gives a personal shout out to Steve Perry of Journey. Watch:

His personal message for Perry comes after a series of back and forth interviews between the two. In November, Monteith told PopEater he hoped the cast didn't "crap on" Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin''.
"Steve Perry, if you're reading this, and you want to drop me a line on Twitter, feel free to let me know if I crapped on it, or not. I am more than open to your critique," Monteith said.
Not long after, Perry gave his insight about the 'Glee' rendition. "I would give it an A," Perry told PopEater exclusively. "I think they did a good job." He then added, laughing along the way, that "A+ is reserved for the original. That's a little shameless promotion, forgive me."
When asked directly if 'Glee' "crapped on" the song, the singer answered honestly. "No. They did a really nice heartfelt high school interpretation of a song," Perry said.

Somehow I don't think Cory will get a Twitter from Steve, but still... I like that Cory keeps Steve in the news.
