Was in the first Row in Minneapolis. Magical night. I remember him being still shook up about Sherrie.
He talked about her recently calling him.
Somewhere theres Hope BLEW me away.

Apparently, he gave another interview today...of ALL DAYS...well, for ME, anyway....

...haven't heard it myself; found out about it from here & another Board....

BUT...

apparently, he said something about "trying to figure out if he wants to record again"...........????

For those that heard this interview today - did anyone actually hear him say that?

Front row center in Burlington, Iowa, and the recipient of 2 high fives. Steve knows a bad ass when he sees one! 8) That show featured an afternoon snowstorm that limited the show to a couple hundred people at the most. The show was great and featured a rocking version of Wheel In The Sky that made me forget how much I absolutely despise the original album version. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

I am so envious of all you people that have seen SP solo or w/Journey. I'm probably one of the few hardcores that have never seen him perform in person. School...career...family...I missed everything. This is the one most regret that I will have for the rest of my life  .

Budokan '83 has been passed around among fans for years. Great...Great show...SP/Journey at their peak!!!! Everything else pales in comparison.

His advent on this site was actually as a loon, you could look it up.

Absolutely it was. That is, until I learned of the treachery and deceit by him as a bandmate. But I've never waivered from a singing perspective. He's still the greatest I've ever heard.

Does anybody know what was the last date in 1995 of the FTLOSM tour? Steve Perry's last ever concert. And sadly probably also will forever be. :(

I think the Tokyo 81 show is better. It's the beginning of the tour and he just nails DSB. WITS is outstanding also. With the inclusion of The Party's Over, Dixie Highway, La Do Da, and Lay it Down AND the exclusion of Open Arms, the show is just a better rocking event. You can download a remastered boot with the colors corrected and 5.1 incorporated, really a great disc, almost as good as an official release.

That would be in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 22nd 1995. There is a bootleg of that show, but quality is not great unfortunately.
