Steve Perry was his sexiest during the ROR period.

Totally agree - my favorite era for Journey/Perry, although I love them all. I think he was right when he said the band comes alive when they perform live.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Is it just me, or did SP seem like he was on drugs of some kind. Serious question.

He was either...

a) on drugs

b) manic as hell

c) depressed and on drugs

d) manic and on drugs

e) a combination of a few of these

Definitely wasn't completely sane or clean, though, that's for sure. :(

Nice....there is some good quotes on that video...NO????

Manic maybe??? Depressed could be???

I think it has been discussed to death....I just enjoy it for what it is/was......the voice of Journey on the bands
last stadium tour.

I watch this and see what the band was.........and they were one of the best!

I like the way you put that Portland, their last "stadium" tour. Not to be confused with bars and state fairs. Yes, they were one of the very best.

ROR definitely was the best tour they ever did, in my opinion, even if Steve WAS a little "over the edge". Remember, he'd just lost both a girlfriend and his mother. That could send anyone over the edge.
"as long as they have to carry DSB as their banner, it looks like Perry will be right there with them as an overseer, ready to wield his veto power on all things Classic Journey." As quoted by Don on 12/7/2010

Perry acts soooo freakin cheesy and says so many cliche things in all of his interviews. He drives me nuts. Just sing and shut up!
