Champagne will be on ice in the Giants clubhouse. If they beat the Padres tonight, they're the Division Champs. Wonder if Steve is flying up for the celebration.....

I don't think they're just going to let Emo-Boy in the club house to party because of his attending a few games. Free access because of a star's attendance means the Lakers having Jack Nicholson doing shooters on the bench & Dyan Cannon pole dancing in the locker room every time they win a championship.

Giants didn't get it done tonight. Padres won 6-4. Workhorse Matt Cain surprisingly pitched poorly (may have let the adrenalin got the best of him). Giants will try again tomorrow to un-cork that champagne. Didn't catch a glimpse of SP in the stands...

Don...I'll bet, if SP asked nicely, he could get into the Giants clubhouse. I think they do know him, as he has been photographed in spring training wearing Giants cap & jacket going back to early 2000's. And, sometimes, they play Lights during home games (maybe when Steve is at the ballpark?).

DSB was a 49ers theme song back in the early '80s.

Did everyone see Perry at the game/on Fox today? He was singing DSB along with the crowd and was shown on the scoreboard. The Fox broadcasters even mentioned "You Better Wait"

Egads...I may have jinxed them. Last chance tomorrow!!!! If the Giants lose again, they have to go down to San Diego Monday for a 1-game playoff. It's do or die now.....

On a bright note.... (this game was televised on national TV) and
SP was shown up in the VIP section rooting for the Giants...singing DSB!!!!

Rally didn't happen, though.... S.F. fans got 1 more game to see the Home Team get it done.

Cyndy....they really did everyone a favor by finally getting out of miserable Candlestick Park....instant increase in attendance tenfold. Close to downtown & waterfront....What took so long!!!! Beautiful ballpark befitting the classy City by the Bay. Sorry it took me getting out of town before it happened

Thats Steve right in the center of the pic, he's wearing a dark blue t shirt and ball cap. He's leaning forward a little over a railing clapping with the music and when it gets to "somewhere in the night" he raises his right arm straight up in the air like he used to do on stage. I am sooooooo happy to see him enjoying himself like that. Must be awesome to hear yourself like that in an event like that!!!!!!!! He even motions to the crowd to get into it!!!

The Giants did it!!!! It was a nail-biter....Giants relievers, the best staff in baseball (this year), shut down the Padres.

Couldn't watch all the clubhouse celebration....hope SP got in there!!!!
