Problem is, the questions chosen (at random? not likely) are softballs.

I am sure people DO ask things like, "why are you a virtual musical hermit when it comes to your own songs?" and whatnot. Sadly, he won't answer that kind of question publicly!

Maybe if everyone asked those "he'll never answer that" questions instead of lobbing soft balls, Steve might actually say something of interest for a change. Just sayin'

I don't believe it's necessarily people not asking him those type of questions, but as someone else pointed out, those questions are probably not chosen. I think it also has a lot to do with how the questions are presented. I believe he would answer any question if it's presented in a respectable way. Could be the reason why he only answers questions about Don't Stop Believing and Baseball.

Those questions will never be answered no matter how respectfully they are asked. If he had any intentions of answering them at all, he would have done so years ago. That's probably why Andrew will never get an interview.

The questions are supposed to be about the new Greatest Hits Album, whether it be about the remastering process or why certain songs were chosen.
Where did people get the idea that this an "anything goes" Q&A?

I wouldn't even know what to ask about remastering! And, I don't care what songs were chosen...I have them all anyway. lol. I just tossed in whatever questions...not like they are gonna be answered and I never win anything good (well, I won a pineapple once in a floral arranging class).

If that's the case then what else is there to ask? Those questions are already posted on the website to begin with.

I took those as suggestions on what to ask. It doesn't specifically say to ask just those questions.

Yeah, I mean come on. Is it realistic to think that you're going to get 20 questions about remastering music from fans in which the majority are not recording industry professionals? I suppose if each person just asked a question about each song, you'll get maybe 15 questions out of that!
