I will list the songs on thursday I forgot the listing at work

I just tried to download part 1 and got an error message..."quicktime player can not open type of file"... can I fix this somehow?

Thanks...

You have to download all three into the same folder. Once done, you need to right click on part 1 and select "extract Here" and all three archives will unpack.

These are packed as winrar. If you are using a mac, you may be screwed unless you can find a RAR utility to unpack with..

StuffIt Expander will work for Mac. http://download.cnet.com/StuffIt-Expand ... ag=mncol;1

For Windows, just get Winrar here. http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/ ... 07677.html

Thanks for the stuffit link Rick it has worked a treat. :)

This is a great song, and Steve rocks it, but it's not a Steve Perry song. He is doing a cover of a song by Larry Norman. Larry released it originally in 1989, but I guarantee you he does NOT do the song the justice that Steve MF Perry does. :D

hmmm. I looked around on line and found an album by Larry Norman called Home At Last but no song called "Home At Last." Have you heard Larry Norman's version of the song?

Yes, Lora, I have, but I heard it quite a while back on Rhapsody. Let me look, though, I remember seeing all the information online, searching under the name of the artist. He wasn't a very well known artist. let me do some more research on it to see if I'm off base about the artist, but the song does exist and the original is exactly the same as the one Steve sings, albeit not even close to as good.

Though it was never released, Dick Wagner co-wrote and produced the song (along with another one called Touched Tonight) for Steve Perry's FTLOSM album in 1993. Wagner also has his own version of the song on one of his albums which might be what you heard.

Yeah, Don, that's the one. I've also heard of Touch Tonight as well. Those were written for FTLOSM huh? It's a shame they never made it on. Awesome songs. Good to know, thanks.

Good for Dick. I don't know why people insist on infringing on other peoples property.
