That song blew me away when I first heard it. It was on a Steve Perry "rare & unreleased song collection" (3-cd compilation) that I got my hands on some years ago now. At the time, I didn't know about SP's r&b influence. Certainly, doesn't sound anything like what Journey would do... in retrospect, very much along the vein of ST.

I could definitely see Jon agreeing to do this in Journey with Steve... Jon and Steve were huge R&B fans.. Jon has even said they bonded over their love of R&B
